According to Ukrainian law, this category includes:
- persons who have reached retirement age;
- persons who have no more than 1.5 years remaining until retirement.
Please note: The right to an old-age pension arises upon reaching the age of 60 (provided the required insurance period has been met).
Therefore, senior citizens are defined as individuals aged 58.5 and older.
